I hope everyone is enjoying the Fall! I had a very busy end to the summer and a equally busy start to the Autumn season.
Just to quickly recap I had two pastels accepted into the Newburyport Art Associations Fall Juried Show Part 1. One of my accepted pieces is:
"Watching you, Watching me"
12 x 12 Oil
The show just ended to make room for the Fall Juried show part two. Sadly I do not have enough work available to submit to the show. It will still be worth the visit so if you have time, the show runs from November 1 through November 30.
I also have recently been the recipient of two wonderful honors...
First, I had two pieces accepted into the Pastel Society of New Hampshire’s National Juried Show “It’s Pastel” The show runs from October 24th through November 30th also at the Discover Portsmouth Center. To top it off, the morning of the Reception on October 26th, I was informed that I received the Terry Ludwig Award for my pastel “Old School.” I have to tell you what a huge honor this was...totally unexpected and this arguably was the BEST show I have not only been a part of, but probably have ever seen. A must see if you’re up in the Portsmouth NH area!
Second, this week I was also accepted into the New Hampshire Art Association!!
Wow, What a week it has been!!
Just a reminder...On November 16th and 17th, myself and the other artists’ of my studio in Amesbury will be holding out open studio weekend! The artist reception is Friday evening from 5:30-9pm. IF YOU CAN ONLY MAKE ONE HOLIDAY PARTY THIS YEAR, THIS IS THE ONE!
Spread the word and tell your friends!
Check back soon for more updates. Thanks
