Robin Thornhill Fine Art is now offering Monday morning painting classes for all levels including beginners (some drawing skills needed).  These classes are lots of fun and offer loads of information including handouts, demonstrations, one-on-one instruction and more!

"Bridge Street Before 7" 6x8 Pastel

Here's my latest pastel called "Bridge Street Before 7." It's a painting from my visit to Chatham, Cape Cod last fall during Robin's workshop. I love this little painting...I feel I captured the early morning and the breathtaking sunrise from that day. This was completed during a break while painting a large sunset in oil. You'll see that one soon.

For those of you who did not make the reception last evening, here is a sneak peek at the second painting accepted into the Newburyport Art Association Winter Juried Show Part 1. The show runs until February 2nd. Hope you can stop by.

Today I found out that BOTH paintings I submitted to the Newburyport Art Association (NAA) Winter Members Juried Show Part 1 were accepted! The show begins on Friday January 11th and runs until February 2.
