This is a portrait I did in Robin's class last week. It's my first attempt at charcoal in 20 years. I was pretty pleased with it. I think it looks just like the model, minus the angry scowl :-) .My son said it was "AWESOME"...so i'll take it. He usually tells it like it is. Other words he's used to explain my art have been..."neat," "cool" and "awkward," so when I get an "awesome" I'm happy.
if that is what you can do after not practing for 20 years, i can't wait to see what you produce when you draw all the time!
